![]() It seems to be related to cache mode, turning the shared folder download off under settings then back on fixes it or rebuilding the OST file. This is starting to impact a small handful of clients as they update. If you manually click Update Folder it will work as it should but never automatically update after. Morning, we noticed slowly that shared mailboxes would sit at "Updating Folder" status in the Outlook client, on the latest build of 2112. Also on Reddit I see a user complaining about this problem: I am currently trying to narrow down the problem. It seems to be with version 9.20260 (build 2112), but not with all users. I have 4 users of a company where this is no longer done automatically but only via "Refresh folder". I am ASSUMING that Outlook on my PC is trying to sync with the server, which is in turn trying to coordinate the sync between the PC and the phone. It appears to be only in the IMAP accounts, but it can hang on any of the folders within the IMAP account. Outlook 2016 hangs pretty much every day on the synchronizing step. I also have an Android phone that attaches to these 3 accounts. ![]() Each new year, I offload the previous year's IMAP mail as well as start a fresh POP3 data file, so that I have "minimal" emails on the server. I I leave all the messages in my IMAP accounts on the server until the end of the year. I have 3 accounts attached: 2 IMAP accounts and 1 POP3. I use a desktop running Outlook 2016 (32) on Windows 10 (64) Pro. ![]()
